About this part
Heavy-duty pre-cut sprocket guard for racing karts. This universal 220 mm sprocket protector is made from extremely durable hybrid plastic and comes pre-cut, so it is ready to install straight out of the box.
Fitment
- Outside diameter: 220 mm
- #219 chain: fits sprockets from 74 to 85 teeth
- #35 chain: fits sprockets from 60 to 70 teeth
- Engine: works with both 2-stroke and 4-stroke karts (KA100, X30, LO206 and more)
Why run a sprocket guard
A sprocket guard keeps rocks, rubber and curb debris out of the chain and protects the sprocket teeth in a spin or a trip through the grass. It is required at many tracks and clubs, and it is far cheaper than a replacement sprocket.
